The Nevada County Board of Supervisors approved the proposed ordinance to be enforced immediately. I reported and posted the new ordinance the day of the meeting click here. Many would be "farmers" may not be seeing green this coming harvest season. What the actual revenue loss to the local tax base might be is unknown, but time may tell. Local Realtors may be required to disclosing the new ordinance to all perspective buyers or renters as part of their Standard Disclosure Statement. I'm on the Nevada County Board of Realtor's Legislative Committee and we agreed it would be a good idea to get the message out, as there could be prospective buyers and renters who are unaware for the new ordinance and might be moving here for the farming opportunity.
