BREW CREW DELIVERS FIRST LOSS

On Saturday afternoon the Bear River Brewers who have one loss on the season were pitted versus the Sierra Foothill Orioles who came into the contest with none. After the first batter with the ball out of the park to take a 1-0 lead it looked as is the Crew was in for a long afternoon but Winter settled settled down on way to a 7-5 victory.

Winter pitched 5 innings in 66 pitches with only 2 earned earned runs. Joe Cregar was called to the bump in the sixth got the first 2 out then struggled to throw a strike. Bases were loaded Cregar had just walked 2 home and the kid who hit the Hr came up and got a double. With the Tying run on second base Cregar got the SF batter to  groundout to  Winter at first.

Trae Nix went 3 for 3, Noah Gravatt and  Colby Lundsford delivered RBI doubles while Elliot Bouchier hit a line drive base hit with the bases loaded in the win.
