BEAR RIVER YANKEES OVER NEVADA CITY RED SOX


The Bear River Yankees dropped the Nevada City Red Sox 12-2 on a complete game effort from starting pitcher Branden Sorenson as well as a team effort at the plate which was highlighted by a 220+ foot homerun by Colton Jenkins.

Peyton McGovern went 4-for-4 including a triple for Bear River. The Yankees had eight hits as did the Red Sox. The difference in the game was Sorenson gave up no walks and Nevada City committed 8 errors in the one sided contest.
