The Bear River Marlins entered Wednesday's game against the BR Giants with a perfect record but after the Giants closer Zachary Hurst struck out the game's final three batters in 13 pitches the Marlins fell for the first time of the season by a score of 18-6.

Aidan Daley started on the hill for the Giants who was relieved by Daniel Bamburg and Hurst. The Marlins called on Ty Knox, Luke Barrieau, Adam Malik and Devin
Ortiz to pitch.

With the Tournament of Champions right around the corner this could serve as motivation to both teams down the stretch.
