NEVADA COUNTY ATHLETES

Promoting multiple sports to your child has it's advantages and disadvantages. Anthony Barstow, a sports writer for the Union shared the details from four Nevada County single and multiple sport athletes. His article can be found here. As a parent of two multiple sport athletes, I can also add there is a time and financial commitment  by the parents as well. Once the player makes a commitment to an AAU or travel team there are many trips (gas) to far away games and practices, which can require a hotel stay and meals at restaurants.
