TC will take on River Park Little league who is representing District 10 tonight at 5 p.m. Both teams come into tonight's contest without a loss in the double elimination tournament.
When taking a look at how River Park got here, in game one they defeated Turlock American Little League by way of the mercy rule 15-2 and in their second game they dropped Almaden North 7-6. River Park has scored more runs than any other team in the tournament, scoring 23 while Tri-City has scored 14 in their two games.
Now switching to the losers bracket, the two remaining teams are Tassajara Valley and Vacaville Central, they play tonight after the winners bracket game which is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Both teams were defeated by Tri-City earlier in the week, while River Park's opponents were sent home.
River City may have score more runs than Tri-City, it is clear that River City had an earlier schedule to get into the semi-final game.
The video below is the Tri-City 9-10 all-star team from 2011, which is basically the same group of boys playing in Watsonville in 2012.
