NEVADA COUNTY MINERS 12U BASEBALL CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS

The Nevada County Miners battled in championship game of Northern California Reginal tournament at Big League Dreams in Manteca, losing 8-7 to the Manteca Marlins. The Marlins scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth and final inning to steal the game.


"Great showing by these boys in their first tournament ever!" said the team's manager after the game.


The only tournament stats for individual players I have are for Owen DalBon who went 7 for 11  including 2 triples, 1 double with 3 RBI,  5 runs scored and a sacrifice bunt. Pitcher Clay Corippo pitched a complete game earning him the win.
