GRASS VALLEY AND AUBURN COMMUNITY RUNS

Bear River High School Cross Country Coach, Kevin Vasquez and Placer High School Cross Country Coach, Randell Fee have joined forces to offer the Grass Valley and Auburn community runs.  Every Tuesday and Thursday night, groups of runners of all abilities gather for the opportunity to experience a great trail run.  Tuesday nights runners meet at the Penn Gate Lot at 6 p.m. and run on all the great trails at Empire Mine.  Thursday nights they meet at Placer High School at 6 p.m. in the football parking lot for a scenic run in the American Canyon.  Both nights cater to all abilities of runners as three different mileage groups offer easy, mid-distance, and long distance runs.  It is a great way for anyone to get introduced to the sport of running or a great training day for the more experienced athlete.  The last runs for the summer will happen the week of July 16th.
