NEVADA COUNTY MINER'S 12U INTO CHAMPIONSHIP

The Nevada City Miner's a 12 and under travel baseball team defeated MVP of Citrus Heights by a score of 8-2. The team's manager, Scott Wheeler called on his hard throwing right handed Bear River Little League pitcher Clay Corippo to toe the rubber, who delivered a compete game to earn the win.


With the win, NC Miner's will play the Manteca Marlins at 2 p.m. for the Select Division championship.
