The 2012 Sierra Valley USA youth football and cheer schedule has been released.
Bear River is slated to play in the North Division this season. Their first three games will be played on the road (Del Campo 8/18, Capitol Christian 8/25 and Bradshaw Christian 9/8) with their first home game is on September 15 against the Grant Pacers. Then they are back on the road to Lincoln on September 22 before their two game home stand against Placer 9/29 and Nevada Union 10/6. The Junior Bruins round out their regular season schedule with Roseville 10/13 on the road and Granite Bay 10/20 at home.
All home games will be played at Bear River High School and there is a fee to enter the stadium.

Hey Scott, to add to your post… Bear River Jr. Bruins are always looking for additional players. As most people know that live in the area, we are in-between two larger schools (Nevada Union and Placer) and have a hard time filling our squads. Most teams (Mighty Mites, Jr. PeeWees, PeeWees, Jr. Midgets and Midgets) can only draw between 16 and 25 players. For this reason, our players get a lot more exposure and playing time. If anyone thinks it’s too late to sign up…. It’s not! Bear River Jr. Bruins will accept new players up until September. If anyone is interested in checking out the program, they are welcome to come by and check out a practice.
