RLL Juniors (Section 4 Champs) defeated Salida 8-7, to secure the Division 2 All-Star Championship.  Rocklin got off to a strong start, leading 4-1 after the first inning.  Salida answered and came back strong to tie the game after three innings, 4-4.  By the top of the six inning, both teams had gained another run, but remained tied 5-5.  In the bottom of the six inning, Salida scored two runs, and lead 7-5.  But Rocklin NEVER GAVE UP!  In the top of the seventh inning, Rocklin scored three runs to regain the lead, 8-7!  Rocklin closed out the game in the seventh inning by holding Salida from scoring!  Both teams played a great ballgame.  Nevertheless, Rocklin's GREAT TEAM EFFORT throughout the Division 2 Tournament secured them the Championship!  They now represent Northern California in the upcoming Junior League Western Region Tournament in Vancouver, Washington!  GO ROCKLIN!!!!
