From Rocklin Little League's website...
RLL Juniors (Section 4 Champs) defeated Salida 8-7, to secure the Division 2 All-Star Championship. Rocklin got off to a strong start, leading 4-1 after the first inning. Salida answered and came back strong to tie the game after three innings, 4-4. By the top of the six inning, both teams had gained another run, but remained tied 5-5. In the bottom of the six inning, Salida scored two runs, and lead 7-5. But Rocklin NEVER GAVE UP! In the top of the seventh inning, Rocklin scored three runs to regain the lead, 8-7! Rocklin closed out the game in the seventh inning by holding Salida from scoring! Both teams played a great ballgame. Nevertheless, Rocklin's GREAT TEAM EFFORT throughout the Division 2 Tournament secured them the Championship! They now represent Northern California in the upcoming Junior League Western Region Tournament in Vancouver, Washington! GO ROCKLIN!!!!
Propstra Stadium
This place has everything — a beautiful setting on a green belt, it is one of the newest (1998) and most expensive High School facilities. Propstra is a brick stadium that cost $1.5 million. The stadium seats 1,500. It has parking next to the stadium for 300 cars, covered seating behind home plate, grass infield, protected dugouts.
