The Bear River Junior Bruins Peewee team found itself somewhere on Saturday afternoon where it never had been before. Not only did they make it to the playoffs which no BRJB Peewee team had done before, they were playing  in Division I. This is where the top two teams in the North and South leagues square off to see who is the top team.

Bear River fell 45-15 to the bigger, faster team of Franklin, who has not lost all season and their closest contest was 22-0.

Franklin jumped out to a 30-8 halftime score. The Bruins got on the board when Calder Kunde completed a pass to Josiah Cregar which went for a 40 yard TD.

The other Bear River score was on a pass play from Cregar to Jaden Gravatt.

Franklin's offense was stopped only one time by the BR defense. Franklin also scored off a Bruin on side kick.
