The Lady Bruins Freshman volleyball team hosted Center High School on Tuesday with hopes of turning their losing streak around. It took three sets to get the job done.

Center jumped out to a 7~2 lead by way of strong serving in the first game but Bear River knotted the game at 11 all and took their first lead at 14~13. Center called TO at 15~13 but it did not break the Bruins concentration as they won 25~17.

In the second game Bear River once again fell behind early at 5~3 and knotted at 11. The host team took the lead at 14~13 but Center rallied to a 20~18 lead and this time it was Bear River which called the time out, which worked. The game was tied at 20 all but that is where the Bruins come back stopped, falling 25-21.

The third and final game went to Bear River who used strong serving to take the lead at 13-12 and moved to a 15-13 win.
