MINER'S JUNIOR PEEWEE WIN IN OVERTIME AT BEAR RIVER

Nevada Union and Bear River's Junior Peewee teams have struggled as of late, so today's game was  a well matched game. Nevada Union gained yards in small doses where the Bruins relied on running back Colton Jenkins who had two very long touchdown runs.

The game was knotted at the end of regulation at 13-13. The tie breaker is each team gets the ball for four plays in an attempt to score.

The Miners won the opportunity to score first but the Bruins dug and stopped NU as did the Miners when Bear River had the ball.

With the next possession Bear River fumbled giving the Miners the ball who scored to win the contest in overtime.
