BROWN SOX WIN IN WALK OFF

On Thursday night the Brown Sox gave up the lead at 9-7 in the sixth inning for the third time in the game. Each time the boys in brown found themselves trailing while playing Auburn's travel baseball team they used timely hitting and solid base running to pull ahead including scoring three in thee bottom of the sixth to to pick up the 10-9 win.

The Sox manager pitched six different pitchers in the contest with all delivering when needed and only the teams catcher played the same position more than one inning.

The back and forth game was played at Western Gateway Park in Penn Valley and the go ahead run came on a walk-off double to left by Stewie Eskridge. When Eskridge returned to the dugout the Brown Sox players dumped ice water on him in appreciation of his timely hit.

The Sox are back in action on November 3 when they travel to Sacramento where they will play the Golden Spikes.
