Bear River High School's Varsity and JV girls volleyball teams win the Pioneer Valley League Championship.

The Varsity team (25-12, 9-1) defeated Colfax in straight sets on Tuesday which ends their regular season with a share of the title with Placer. Sara Schell led the team with 18 Kills, 1 Error, 2 Aces, 17 Receptions. Click here for The Union Newspaper's coverage.

This is the second consecutive PVL title for the Varsity team.

NSCIF PLAYOFFS: Division II and III November 6 &13, 2012 
                               Division IV, V, and VI      November 6, 13, & 15, 2012 

NSCIF CHAMPIONSHIP      November 17, 2012     (All Divisions at Red Bluff High School)
NORCAL CHAMPIONSHIPS    November 20, 24, 27, 2012 (Divisions I-V)  
STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS    December 1, 2012  (Divisions I-V)  


The Junior Varsity team also defeated the Falcons on Tuesday to keep their record perfect at 10-0 in the PVL which also earned them the title.
