The
Bear River Cross Country team raced in the 50th annual Nevada Union Invitational
and came away with some great individual performances. Mary Nattrass
continues to solidify her top spot on the Lady Bruin's roster and within
the Pioneer Valley League with a top 15 finish in the small school
varsity girls.
The Bruin's future looks bright with solid performances from their freshman and sophomores in the frosh/soph races. Freshman Cecilia Malik continues to impress as she finished 11th overall and freshman Patrick Gillis turned in a strong performance as well.
Next up for Bear River is the first of three Pioneer Valley League meets that will pit all the PVL teams against each other to decide on an eventual league champion. The Bruins will race at Gibson Ranch in Sacramento.
