Rocklin's starting pitcher Sullivan giving up two runs on RBIs by V. Guerrero, M. Molina before getting out of the top of the inning at Propstra Stadium. Rocklin proceeded to jumped all over Arizona's starting pitcher Aivazian delivering three runs with RBIs by M. Schoenberger, H. Gibson, J. Cadell in the bottom of the frame to take the lead at 3-2.Rocklin's relief pitcher, Floyd pitched out of a jam in the top of the third with runners at second and third with two out to keep the lead at 3-2.
Floyd walked Olsen who led off for Arizona in the top of the fifth, he then stole second for his third stolen base of the game and moved to third on a single by Trujillo. Arizona used a pinch runner, Meyers to have runners at second and third. Molina delivered an RBI single to give Arizona a 4-3 lead.Z the lead.
In the bottom of the fifth Arizona called B. Root to the bump who got Rocklin three up three down.
Rocklin led off bottom of the inning with two consecutive hits but Floyd was thrown out at third off a single by Schab. Schab later scored on a single to left by Cadell to knot the contest at 4-4.
As the teams went into the seventh and final frame, Rocklin had four runs on 11 hits and an error where Arizona had four runs on eight hits and an error. Floyd started the seventh getting the first two batters but Root singled to keep AZ hopes alive. Molina made it aboard for runners at second and third with two out and Santana singled to load the bases. Rocklin changed pitchers calling on Palmer to get the District 11 team out of a major jam. He fell behind 2-0 but battle back getting Meyers to ground out to second.
In The bottom of the seventh inning Root was back on the hill for AZ and Rockiln led off with Palmer. Rocklin loaded the bases on one hit and with two outs Schab came to the plate to face relief pitcher Santana who delivered a walk off single for Rocklin in the 5-4 win.
Rocklin will be back on the diamond on Saturday at 10 a.m when they take on Washington.
