Placer High school's Varsity football team is starting the season at #13 in the maxpreps pre-season rankings.

This past season the Hillman went 9-3 and they have their key players returning to Coach Joey Montoya's 28 man roster.

The key players are All-world defensive tackle Eddie Vanderdoes (6'4", 303 lbs) who has signed to play for USC next fall. It is said he will play a few snaps at tight end as well as fullback.

Montoya's wing-T will be led by returning quarterback Pete Denham who will had the ball off to running backs Michael Robinson and Isaac Bruce who combined for over 1000 yards rushing with 19 touchdowns.
