BEAR RIVER MAJORS DOWN TO ONE GAME

As the Bear River major Dodgers and Giants prepare for their meaningful final games, District 11 powerhouse league Tri-City Little League will send it's Cardinals and Indians to compete in the annual Tournament of Champions. Click here for the Tri-City TOC recap.

Bear River could know who gets it's second TOC bid as early as Wednesday evening if the Giants fall to the Grass Valley Cubs, but it will be decided no later than Thursday if the Dodgers win. If the Giants win and the Dodgers do not, then the Giants will get the bid.

The Giants take on the Grass Valley Cubs on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Bear River while the Dodgers will play the Nevada City's Angels at Pioneer Park in Nevada City.

The Bear River Giants defeated the NC Angels by a score of 11-1 and the GV Cubs defeated the the BR Dodgers 5-4 earlier this spring. The Dodgers also won both contests against the BR Giants.
