Bear River sends it's top two teams to the Tournament of Champions, first pitch is June 18. Mathematically the Angels are already in, but the second bid is not so clear as of 6/9/12 at 9 a.m. Both the Dodgers and the Giants have two games to play on the schedule.
If the League's website is current and up to date then the season is not over for the Dodgers or the Giants.
If the Dodgers drop their remaining two games they would finish regular season play with a win percentage of .560 where if the Giants were to win their games they would finish with a .650 percentage.
If the Dodgers win one and lose one they would finish at .625 and if the Giants also split they would finish at .600.
The Giants have played and won more games than the Dodgers therefore their percentage could be higher, but on the flip side the Dodgers did defeat the Giants in both their regular season contests.
So the bottom line is the Dodgers hold all the cards but with a little help the Giants could mathematically slip in the back door.
