BEAR RIVER MINORS TOC FINAL GAME SET

On Monday night the Bear River Minor's Tournament of Champions moved into the second round of play. The Tigers fell to the Royals in game one and the Yankees needed a sixth inning comeback to drop the Giants by a score of 4-3.

The table is set for a 4:45 p.m. first pitch for the BR minor's final which will be held at the BR major's field.

The two teams met twice this season. The first one went to the Yankees by a score of 3-2 but in the second contest the Royals won by a score of 5-2.

The Royals manager Brad Dalbon and the Yankees manager Dave Rogers have been here and won before. In 2011 Rogers led his then Yankees team to a 3-2 victory over the Tim McShane managed Orioles, While in 2010 Dalbon's Nationals defeated the Scott Kilgore managed Rockies. Whoever wins Tuesday's game will move on to play in the District 11 T.O.C. The Bear River champion will take on the top team out of Sierra Foothill Little League. Click here for the full D11 bracket.

The D11 T.O.C. format is lose one and your done.

It was a great season for the Cardinals, Blue Jays, Giants and Tigers. I enjoyed watching you play and grow as players. See you on the diamond next season.
