PVL GIRLS BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT RESULTS - PLACER, COLFAX, BEAR RIVER

It looks as if girls varsity basketball in the Pioneer Valley League could be a toss up as the three foothill team won their preseason tournaments.

Placer
Placer (4-0) won their first preseason tournament with stifling defense to take home the trophy at the Lois Langford Invitational. Olivia Holmes, Kerry McCullough, and Elena Daniel earned all tournament honors.

Bear River
Bear River (4-0) won their tournament by defeating Justin-Siena with a balanced attach 45-41. The Bruins led from the opening tip to the final horn but they did have a scare as their opponent did score 24 points in the final quarter.

Colfax
Colfax (4-0) won their tournament by holding Liberty Ranch to shooting 19% from the field as they won 52-20.
