BEAR RIVER FRESHMAN BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND

The Bruins' freshman girls basketball found themselves matched against what could be the tournament's eventual winner in its first round contest. The host team fell to Oak Ridge by a final score of 45-5.

Oak Ridge used its full court press to pull out to a 21-2 first quarter lead and kept in on until the score was 33-3 at the half. In the second half the visiting team ran there offense and did not fast break.

Roseville vs Golden Sierra

The game was well matched as both teams looked to be about the same skill level but Roseville pulled it out in the end winning by 4.

Roseville will take on Oak Ridge and the Lady Bruins will play Golden Sierra at 3:30 on Friday.

NU vs Colfax

I left at the end of the first quarter with the score of 11-5 in favor of the Lady Miners. 

Placer vs Ponderosa

I'm not sure of the outcome.

The winner of the NU vs Colfax game will play the winner of the Placer vs Ponderosa while the two losers will play.
