BASS FISHING WEATHER - LAST BLAST OF HEAT

When the weather turned cold and rainy this past week the water temperature also cooled off which will slowed the feeding habits of warm water fish. The following week Nevada County once again hit 80 degrees resulting in the water warming again. Making the fish more active.

When the water warms, bass will begin to feed aggressively again. We fished with plastic worms.

My son and I took the opportunity to get a line wet which resulted in a nice sized large mouth bass which the orange and white cat wanted to eat for dinner. This is a great time of year to be outside regardless of the activity. Enjoy the vitamin D.
