BEAR RIVER BREW CREW KEEP ROLLING - PENN VALLEY WHITE SOX


The undefeated Bear River major Brewers jumped out to an early lead on the undefeated Penn Valley White Sox on Tuesday night behind starting pitcher Cole Winter which resulted in an 11-8 thrilling victory for the Bear River team.

The Brewers led 6-1 at the end of the second frame but the Sox did score 2 to move the score to 6-3 before the Brewers jumped all over the visitors in the bottom half of the fourth resulting in 5 runs.

Penn Valley's top ranked team did give the host team as scare as they had bases loaded with one out when Josiah Cregar came in to pitch for Noah Gravatt with the score 11-6. Cregar gave up two additional runs before closing out the inning at 11-8.

The trills continued into the sixth for the Sox final at bat, they were able to get two runners aboard which put the tying run at the plate but the Brew Crew were able to get out of the final frame without give up a run.

The Brewers record stands at 5-0 while the Sox fall to 4-1.

The Brewers will be back on the Bear River major's field on Saturday at 7 when they take on the BR Yankees for the second time of the season. In their first match up of the season the Yankees fell 3-2.

The White Sox will look to rebound from their first loss of the season on Thursday at 7:30 at Condon Park when they take on the 2-1 Grass Valley Giants.
