The D-11 Dirtbags which plays in the Intermediate division of Little League baseball hosted the Eldorado Hills team for a twin bill on Sunday in which both games went to the visiting team.
Sam Hopper of Penn Valley started and went 4 inning for the D-11 which fell 12-0 to a very skilled team. The EDH pitching staff combined to throw a one hit shutout in the early game.
The Dirtbags feel in the night cap 19-2 in five innings of play. Aaron Sasville started on the bump for the home home team going 3 and 1/3 before he hit his pitch limit. Four more pitchers threw to complete the game.
Next up for the D-11 team is the Folsom Black team which will play at Caitlin field in Folsom at 10 o'clock and 1 o'clock on Sunday, April 14.
