BEAR RIVER VOLLEYBALL FROSH JV FOLSOM

Bear River's Junior Varsity volleyball team falls to Folsom in the three sets on Thursday night and their overall record moves to 1-1.
Bear River trailed early in the first game 22~8 but was able to put together a late game rally at 22~12 but fell 25~16.


The Lady Bruins looked like they were going to go home early in the second game  as the trailed 8-2. The fought their way back to take their first lead at 12-11 and kept their intensity as they pulled out a 25-17 win.



The third and final game we to the visiting Bulldogs as the jumped out to a 5-0 lead and Bear river never recovered falling 15-7



Freshman

Folsom jumped out to a 16~7 lead in first game as the Lady Bruins had nine service errors as they gave game one away 25-14.



Bear River came out for the second game with more energy and stayed close at 10~8 but Folsom's serving moved the score to 15-9. The home team got their serving together to close it to 15-13. The Bulldog coach called timeout which iced the hot server for the Bruins. The energy moved to Folsom for a 19~14 lead. 




The Bruins did put together a small run to close the gap at to 21~16 until a lack of communication allowed the ball to hit the floor two consecutive times as the freshman team fell 25~19.
