S'MORES A CULINARY DELIGHT

s'more (sometimes spelled smore) is a traditional nighttime campfire treat consisting of a roasted marshmallow and a layer of chocolate sandwiched between two pieces of graham cracker.

While traditional s'mores are great, I have a slight variation. I like to start with an over sized marshmallow. These are not your traditional two-inch in diameter but are about four inches. Prior to toasting get a piece of tin foil and place your gram-cracker on top if in and set it next to you while you are toasting. They do take longer to cook but when you are camping you should have plenty of time to get it just right. Once it is a golden brown on the out side and gooey all the way through I then place it on top of the gram-cracker. Now you will need a larger sized peanut butter cup (which was not sitting next to you at the fire side).

Put that on top of the toasted marshmallow and wrap the tin-foil around the s'more and place it on the metal ring for further heating. Beware this will be come hot and very very messy. But if you like traditional s'mores and you love peanut butter this is a culinary delight you are sure to enjoy.
