BRPRD CALLING ON BASKETBALL COACHES

Hello New and Returning Coaches-

Hope to see you for our 19th year of BRRPD's Youth Winter Basketball League!

Please note our meeting is earlier this year - Saturday, November 16th at 9:00 at the Magnolia Intermediate School Library OR Room 7. Look for signage posted directing you to the meeting room.

We decided to hold meeting earlier for player recruitment. The price for for the league goes up after November 22nd - it benefits everyone to sign-up early! At the meeting will be rules review, team formation and practice time sign-ups. Paperwork for all new and returning coaches can be done then also. Feel free to turn in coaching forms earlier, they will be available at the office.

Dave and I welcome you back and thank-you for supporting the youth in our community by volunteering to coach. We could not do it without you! Coaches clinics can be offered for those who would like some training. Also we will be holding ref clinics for our new and returning referees and score keepers. Input on rules and referees always welcome. Note selected age groups will again compete with Auburn Recreation District teams that will require some travel to other sites. Home games and practices will be at Magnolia gyms. Cottage Hill MPR may open up for practices but not confirmed.

Please put the word out for potential players and coaches. Would love to have all basketball players registered by the November 16th meeting.

BRRPD office hours posted on the Homepage of the website.

Please call or email and let us know the status of your coaching,

Marlene Sharon
