NEVADA CITY ALL-STARS - ONE WIN AWAY

The Nevada City All-Stars are one win away from winning the District 11 Area 2 Major division title as they defeated the Sierra Foothill All-Stars on Wednesday night at Pioneer Park in Nevada City by a score of 15-9.

Grass Valley and Sierra Foothill will play on Friday at 7:30. and the winner will play Nevada City in the Championship game which takes place on Saturday at 5 p.m.

Nevada City defeated Grass Valley 10-3 in the first round behind a strong pitching performance as well as timely hitting.
