Bear River High School has a Gymnasium named after its longtime teacher, athletic director and boys basketball coach Jack McCrory.

McCrory retired from Bear River a few years back and while he did step away from the bench, he couldn't stay away from the contests as he attended most home sporting events.

As of this past Monday McCrory is coaching at Bear River again. He is directing the action of the same game, this time he is working with the girl's program. He has taken on the Head coaching position for the freshman basketball team.

Bear River's girls JV coach resigned in 2012, that resulted in a basketball coaching vacancy. The 2011 freshman coach Matt McDonald will coach the JV team this season and McCrory has taken over for McDonald.

Best of luck Coach. It is good to see you back on the hardwood.
