I received the email below from a Bear River Track and Field enthusiast....
 Congratulations to the Bear River
Track and Field Team for pulling out victories in the Varsity Boys and
Girls division at
the Colfax dual meet yesterday.  The boys won 67-56 and the girls won
96-37.  Special recognition goes out to the 4 x 100m relay team of
DeVaughn Lofton, Brad Botsford, Caleb Johnson, and Austin Dowling who
set yet another school record with a time of 45 seconds.
Congrats to Jacob Robinson who won the pole vault by clearing 12 feet 6
inches and jumped himself into 2nd place within the Pioneer Valley
League.  Thanks to Savannah Wells for her overall performance; 1st in
the 100m and 300m hurdles and 2nd in the triple
jump, which accounted for 13 points in helping the girls post a
victory.  Next up is the Kays/Ostrom Nevada Union Invitational on
Friday, May 4th.  This is a huge meet with 28 teams from across the
northern section competing one last time before league finals
 start.  Go Bruins!  (Kevin Vasquez)
