  3. Anyone who judges a new restaurant by its first month of operation is a fool.

    1. ....That is true! I havent been to Fias yet, but i know this...its hard and expensive to start a new restaurant, and for alot of people, its their dream!!...I sure hope our residents will try to have some class and give Fias a chance! BTW...To the people with snotty reviews...PEOPLE NEED JOBS AND INCOME IN NEVADA COUNTY!!!! Why discourage new business owners and customers like that? Seriously, you grouchy foodies actually RUSH home to write that negative stuff? Guess what? Snotty foodies are more ROTTEN than cheap cat food! Keep your chin up Fias! Steph, Alta Sierra Resident.

    2. I am not a snotty foodie...Just a hard working resident with a family to feed. This place serves cheap cuts of meat and charges a small fortune for not much food. When you have several bad experiences I believe it is appropriate to post a bad review...I personally have wasted enough money giving it a try...The food is BAD and over priced...The service is rude and snotty.

    3. After reading the negative reviews, I decided to try Fias for myself. Anyone who thinks Fias is over priced has not been to dinner lately. The prices are very reasonable. (Unless maybe you are going out for coffee or yogurt.) The food was excellent and service was very friendly.

  7. I've been a fan since the Emigrant Gap restaurant. The food style is unique and the mix of flavors is nothing but inspiring. Pricing is very resonable for such quality. Service has always been very good. I go at least once a week and always choose something from the specials list. The specials are unique and you probably will never get such a dining experience ever again. If you haven't been, you are missing a good life experience.

  8. I went to eat there on Thanksgiving day. The meal was incredible. The turkey, Portuguese stuffing, and vegetables were memorable! The service was excellent. The ambiance was romantic with soft Spanish guitar music, along with the sound of the water fountain. The meal was as if home cooked. I'm going back for more!
