BEAR RIVER LITTLE LEAGUE - MARLINS STAY PERFECT


On Wednesday evening the Bear River minor Marlins jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top half of the first inning on a walk and a single followed by a triple by Tyler Knox off of starting pitcher for the BR Giants Aiden Daley.

The Giants answered with three runs of their own to take the lead on 3 singles and 2 walks in the bottom of the inning off Adam Malik who started on the bump for the Marlins.

The Marlins struck back in the top of the second as they were walked six times along with one infield hit which resulted in four runs.

The Giants got back in the game in the bottom of the 3rd with lead off a walk and triple by Ryan Olsen followed by a single by Daniel Bamburg and Daley singled to knot the score at 6.

The Marlins took back the lead with a walk and a single which resulted in a score. The Marlins added a few runs in the fifth as their batters were walked five consecutive times to move the score to 10-6. Each team added a late game run as the game ended with the score 11-7.

The Marlins stay perfect.
