The Magnolia 7th grade boys basketball team made it to the finals of the Union Hill tournament this weekend and they brought back a second place trophy after falling to 7-Hills.
So far this season, there has been balanced scoring with all players contributing. Standouts in the tournament were Clay Corippo and Alex Quist leading the way with scoring. Zach Rubey is leading the team in rebounding, while Stephen Taylor anchors the defense and leads the team in steals.
Zach Terra hit two buzzer beater 3 pointers in the tournament last weekend. The Rattlers will host Forest Lake on Thursday at 4 and 5pm.
