BEAR RIVER DODGERS WIN

The Bear River Dodgers dropped the Nevada City Angels by a score of 7-5 on Thursday night at Pioneer Park. 

Jaden Gravatt who singled broke the 4-4 tie in the third on a fake bunt steal play. The Angels catcher made an errant throw to third, moving the score to 5-4 and Bradley Dzioba extended the lead to 6-4 scoring on a single by Trea Nix in the bottom of the third. Gravatt also tripled in the sixth and scored on a wild pitch to score the games final run.

Dzioba started on the mound for the Dodgers giving up four runs and Harry Zea relieved in the third giving up one and closed out the game earning the win.

With the win the Dodgers will move on to the District 11 Tournament of Champions on Monday at 7:30 in Rocklin.
