GRASS VALLEY LITTLE LEAGUE IN DRIVERS SEAT - BEAR RIVER WINS - NEVADA CITY SENT PACKING


Aidan Keros led the Grass Valley majors fall ball team on way to defeat Forrest Hill 4-2 on Thursday night at Condon Park. GV will stand on the sideline until Saturday when they will take on the winner of Bear River vs Forresthill game. BR vs FH play on Friday night at Condon Park. Previously in the tournament Forresthill defeated Bear River by a score of 10-8. This is a win or go home game for each team.

At Pioneer Park on Thursday night Bear River fell behind 5-0 against Nevada City in early action but rallied back behind Luke Barrio who finished with 9 strikeouts on way to an win 8-6. With the win Bear River stays alive but Nevada City is sent packing.

Forrest Hill and Bear River will play in the elimination game on Friday night where it is win or go home. The winner will take on the undefeated Grass Valley team Saturday at noon. Grass Valley will only have to win one game while the winner of the Friday night game will have to win two to earn championship honors.

Bear River has won the past two Fall Ball championships.
