BROWN SOX TAKE TWO


On Sunday the Brown Sox 12u baseball team traveled to Marysville's River Front Park for a double header against Valley Baseball Club where they held off their surging opponent in game one as well as scored three in the bottom of the games final inning to pick up their second win of the day.

In game one starting pitcher Bennett King of Nevada City threw 5 2/3 and Dean Hopper closed to pick up the 4-3 win.

In game two it was starter James Nolan of Penn Valley who went 4 innings and it was Jake Walston (Lakeview) who pitched the final two innings to pick up the 6-5 win.

Every player in the above photo contributed to twin-bill victories. The Brown Sox hit the road this coming weekend  where they will play in Sacramento at the SBO Dirtwars.

The Brown Sox move their overall record to 14-4.
