"We were dominated on both sides of the line of scrimmage." Coach Cory Cregar said. "I think we did the best we could being out sized."

The Junior Midgets Bruins played short handed as starting QB Josiah Cregar only kicked for the team as he only received limited duty as well as starting offensive and defensive lineman Tanner Huntley.

Tailback Clayton Anderson ran really hard and  Dylan Scott caught a lot of passes stated the teams head coach.

Newcomer Trey Moronic led the defense with an interception as well as caught many passes from starting quarterback Calder Kunde as well as recovered an on-side kick. He also led the team in Tackles with 15 solos while playing safety.

Elk Grove was a bigger and stronger team and while the score looks closer than it really was as the Bruins scored their only points in the final minutes of the contest.

"I'm glad we played a tough team early. Coach Cregar said. "Now we know how hard we have to work."

Kunde did a great job spreading the ball around the field as he completed passes to 7 different receivers.

Kunde did a great job at quarterback as did running back Jaden Gravatt who caught a pass for a 70 yard touchdown as did Logan Jenkins who caught a 20 yard TD.
