On Tuesday my son and I attended the Sacramento River Cats game at Raley Field where they took on the Las Vegas 51's. It was a very nice night for some baseball, we spoke about what Area 51 is as well as conspiracy theories. the Cats took control of the game early and relied on solid pitching to get them home. Even though Sacramento's starting pitcher gave up his perfect game in the fourth frame my perfect game was never lost as I hung out with my son through the final out.
Cats got on the board on an error by the 51's during a first and third play in third inning to take the lead and scored again in the 4th inning on a walk then followed by a home run. They held a 3 ~0 lead in the bottom of the fourth as Peacock perfect was throwing a perfect game through 4 but he gave up a double in the as he lost the no-hitter. He did earn the win as the Cats dropped the Las Vegas team by a score of 6-2. Sacramento looks as if they will win the Pacific League again this season which will extentds their streak to 12 titles in the past 14 seasons.
